Description
Reduce and eliminate anxiety and stress in these 1 hour weekly Monday night classes. We will utilize body relaxation, breathing techniques, guided imagery, and discussions on how to reduce and eliminate anxiety and stress.
Event Details
Many of us have been forced to take (or consider taking) prescription medication to deal with anxiety. Many have also turned to alcohol and other substances to help us cope with the crippling effects of anxiety and stress. And then there are those who manage to function every day but live with constant anxiety and high levels of stress. We don't need to take prescription medications, drink alcohol or take other substances to deal with the crippling effects of anxiety. We can learn and practice techniques that have been used by thousands of people over hundreds of years that are very effective at removing anxiety and reducing stress.
These classes include guided meditations by Dan Globus, Director and lead Meditation teacher of The Compassion Center. Dan has successfully taught hundreds of people on Staten Island how to reduce and eliminate anxiety and reduce their stress levels.
This class is made up of some people who have anxiety in their lives and wish to reduce and remove it. Some have sleeping issues and will discover how within only a couple of weeks they start to fall asleep faster, sleep through the night, and get the most restful sleep they have had in a long time. This class is made up of people who wish to make changes in their lives and have tried other methods and been unsuccessful in achieving the changes they seek.
This is a by donation class with a recommended donation of $20. If you cannot aoord this recommended amount, you may pay whatever amount you can afford to pay. Payment can be made in cash or credit card.
