The Laru Beya Collective + friends will be hosting our Third Annual Totally Ghoul Halloween Surf + Costume Contest on Sunday October 30!
Prepare to show off your best costumes - both on land and in the water. We will be giving out prizes to multiple winners during an on-beach portion and a surfing portion.
There will be grome, adult, beginner, and group categories.
Surfing is not a must to participate in the costume contest.*
Categories for the surfing portion are:
Monster Mash : Rip sticks, middies, logs. OH MY! The contest's main category. Enter at your own risk.
Grombiez: Grombiez only! Age 16 and below.
Whitewater werewolves: New to surfing? But want to get wet and have Halloween' of a time anyway? All ages welcome.
Squad ghouls: The contest's group category.
Tandem surfing is not required, but matching costumes are! Contestants will be expected to catch the same wave.
All ticket profits will go directly to Laru Beya. The funds will be used for the development and expansion of our youth surf, climbing, and stewardship programs in 2023.
Registration to compete is required.
