About Artuta
Artuta is an online art school for children ages 4–12 featuring classes taught by professional NYC artists.
Our student-centered teaching methodology fosters creativity, concentration, and problem-solving.
Through the use of examples and by working along with instructors, students will naturally become familiar with lines, shapes, colors, materials and creative concepts.
While students are welcome to follow along with the instructor, we encourage them to explore their own ideas, interests and personalities.
Class sizes remain small, only admitting up to five students, in order to cultivate engagement and interactivity.
Our students come to us from all over the Eastern Time Zone, which means in addition to becoming young artists, our students make new friends!
Coming up at Artuta
Artuta’s Winter 2022 Session kicks off on December 4 and will focus on drawing, collage, watercolor and bookmaking.
Instruction is step-by-step, enabling young artists to immediately employ simple methods towards increasingly complex works–leading up to a final project in the last week.
Artuta’s classes build in time for discussion and reflection, so, in addition to an expanded skill set, even experienced students will leave the class with a deeper relationship with their artistic practice.
