Description

Join us! Our Cinco de Mayo festivities recognize Mexican heritage and some of Mexico’s lesser known German cultural influences.

Event Details

It’s an afternoon of music, food and drink outdoors, if the weather permits. We’ve added some extra fun and treats to a leisurely musical brunch —traditional craft activities, included.

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla, defeating the French troops on May 5, 1862. The French prevailed and sent the Archduke Maximillian of Austria to rule until 1867. That period brought German beer brewing techniques and started a new musical tradition in Mexico.
General Admission $25 and $20 for Members, food and drink included. If the weather is inclement, the festivities move indoors.
