Join Chelsea Piers Fitness Run Club Coach, Lindsay Ritchings, for a Saturday group run open to the public every second Saturday of the month, starting and finishing at different points around the city.
These runs will focus on longer distances in order to increase cardiovascular strength, endurance, build lean muscle, and work on some mental toughness. You will burn a lot of calories while running at a conversational pace and meet new people that enjoy the same form of exercise as you.
JUNE 08TH ROUTE: BROOKLYN PROSPECT PARK
Start at the entrance of Chelsea Piers Fitness in Brooklyn, located at 265 Schermerhorn Street. Rund south on Flatbush Avenue towards Prospect Park. Run the entire outer loop of Prospect Park. Return North on Flatbush Avenue. Finish back at Chelsea Piers Fitness Brooklyn. ESTIMATED MILEAGE: 6 Miles
About Coach Lindsay: Lindsay is a former NCAA Division 1 Track and Cross Country runner, with post-collegiate competition experience. Lindsay can assist anyone with proper running technique, proper shoe fit for their stride, and a training plan for whatever their running goals may be.
