TWW Inc. welcomes you to join this wonderful event, A Night With Nina. Evening tribute to Nina Simone. Students & parents will showcase their work from their Simone residency program from PS 12. WIth also special guest artists and performing groups performing to some of Simone's music, and highlights one of her most complex songs, The Four Women. A Night with Simone is a tribute to her contribution to the world as a prominent woman in society, as an activist and artist.
A wonderful night with talented students from Brooklyn's PS 12, Colorful Caribbean Folklore performing group Something Positive Inc, Baritone Voice of Lawrence Craig, Teenagers career in dance Arnel Wilson / Esi Samuels (French Ballet School & Ailey School), College Dance Major Nia Reynolds, singing artist Zakiyyah Zakiah Modeste, Fatima Logan/her performance group VashtiDance Theater, high energy Christopher White/his group The Undaground, and more.
Enjoy a 2 hour event! 7pm show - DOORS OPEN AT 6:30PM
If you are planning to attend our BAM event , you can purchase (if any tickets are available) your tickets through eventbrite up to that night of the performance. Have to show receipt.
or you can RSVP, and you will still pay that price at the door (eventbrite or cash)
Otherwise: Regular door ticket: $50 (cash only).
