UGLY SWEATER KONPA CLASS X TOY DRIVE
Event Details
Haitian Dancer, Bev Flowers, classes are set up to give you the konpa (kompa, compas) experience with a fun and creative twist for both beginners and intermediate konpa dancers to hone their skills while having a blast.First we dance, then we party! in our after class dance party/social. As we gear up for the holidays the twist for this class is THE UGLY SWEATER EDITION, so find the ugliest of sweaters you can find and come dance the night away with me. Furthermore, it's important we think of those who are going through difficult times as the holidays approach and so this class will also be a toy drive, so please bring a toy of your choice if possible or any monetary donations and I will be choosing an organization to donate the toys and money too for children for the holidays..

The class part consist of the background of konpa, basics, hand position , dance etiquette, and the gouyad AKA the slow whine. Please feel free to come with a partner, or come alone because regardless you will have fun and recieve one on one attention to make sure you get the best experience. Ladies bring your comfortable heels, gentlemen bring your comfortable dancing shoes and come have some fun. If you cannot wear heels. Thats fine. come anyway
