The residents of Dyker Heights, a suburban neighborhood of large houses, started a tradition in the 1980s of lavish holiday displays that has grown into a neighborhood-wide competition. Come see why over 100,000 people flock to this area every December to see the famous Dyker lights.
Our tour will begin outside the 71st St subway station (D line). From there, we will begin exploring the neighborhood and its holiday traditions. Blocks and blocks and blocks of the most elaborates display you've seen. I'll share stories of Christmas in New York, and we'll maybe even do some caroling along the way! This tour has opportunities for some amazing holiday photos and memories.
