Event Details

, an anthology including 80 poets who give voice to the watershed impact of Stonewall’s lasting significance, not only for LGBTQ equality but on American culture, ideology, sexuality, and politics.

The work of 80 poets has been curated, compiled, and edited by Marc Rosen and Stonewall Pioneer Rusty Rose. Among the diverse contributors are Ellen Bass, Pam Crow, Lisa Dordal, Scott Hightower, Walter Holland, Timothy Liu, Chip Livingston, Sassafras Lowrey, Seth Walker, Julene Trip Weaver, and Rick Allen Wilson. Love, loss, longing, isolation, community, pride, political action, and AIDS are some of the topics taken up by the selected poets.

Join us at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center in their lobby (a public space) on Saturday, July 27th, from 3-5:30 PM, where it will be our honor and privilege to have several of the poets from Stonewall's Legacy read for you live, including Rusty Rose's "Put The T First", and Marc Rosen's "Confession".

Copies will be available for purchase for $20. No registration or entry fee required, just show up and enjoy!
