//////MORE DETAILS

THE HEADLINER | AT 6:30PM. Modern-day torchbearers of the Golden Age of Latin music, Brooklyn-based ensemble Los Hacheros revives folkloric styles like son montuno, guaracha and salsa, often combining them with Bomba. The five-member group evokes the spirit of a conjunto of 12 musicians, with members singing and playing instruments ranging from the trombone to the guiro, flute, campana, and baby bass.

THE OPENER, FOR KIDS AND KIDS-AT-HEART | AT 5:30PM. Puppetsburg does interactive, contemporary puppet shows with artisanal, handmade puppets for children ages 4 months to 5 years old at various locations across Brooklyn and Manhattan. The 45 minute shows involve dancing, instruments, dress-up "photo-ops," and bubble time, followed by a puppet story. Regularly exploring concepts like counting, simple vocabulary, hygiene, and hipster culture, Puppetsburg features “celebri-puppet” guests in a unique show that is entertaining for infants, toddlers, and parents alike.

The Rainbow show is an immersive experience with each color of the rainbow, including an epic Frog pond, purple balloon rain, and waving rainbow flags in a prideful demonstration! The show culminates with the marriage of Petey the Pirate and Mr. Policeman.

////// THE ARTIST IN GALLERY CUBED | ALL NIGHT. Casey Opstad was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He attended graduate school at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
